Culture and Nature

Arusha City is located in the north-eastern part of Tanzania and is said to be the halfway point between Cape Town and Cairo. It is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes and national parks (e.g. Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro). The city is situated at the foot of Mount Meru (4,566 m or 14,980 ft). Elevation at the city is 1,400m.
