Hospitals
M.A.D is developing life and we believe that health is an obvious area to focus our attention on. Sadly in Tanzania, a high percentage of deaths are caused by four groups of poverty-linked diseases: infectious & parasitic diseases, illnesses of the respiratory system, nutritionally related diseases and diseases of the digestive system.
That's why our doors are wide-open for medical volunteers. We are in special need of nurses, medical students, doctors, and those in related medical fields.
In collaboration with local staff, duties may include providing treatment to pregnant women and newborn babies, providing care to the community for malaria, typhoid, tropical infections, injuries, HIV and AIDS. The greatest benefits that our volunteers provide are in the areas of patient support and preventative education.
Here are some of the Hospitals and some of the Health agencies that we collaborate with in different community health services.
